Research
& Development: Making Forward Progress
Forward Medical develops and commercializes innovative first
response, emergency medical and trauma care products through
in-house development, in-licensing, and acquisition. Forward
Medical will in-license or acquire products and technologies
at all stages of development including: proof-of concept, prototype,
in-development and commercialized
In addition to funding commercialization directly, Forward Medical
also aggressively pursues grant and contract funding with partners
from the U.S. Homeland Security, Department of Defense and National
Institutes of Health to support development and commercialization.

Criteria
Forward Medical is interested in first response, emergency medical
and trauma care products that:
• Represent innovative approaches
in application, engineering or design
• Provide distinct advantages over existing products
in their markets
• Possess patent-protection or have the potential to
be covered by intellectual property rights
